Why I’m interning in Youth Court at LSSND: I am interning with this program because I am very interested in restorative justice and everything that it entails. It has been an amazing opportunity to see first-hand how restorative justice can have a positive impact on youth and their families.
Goals for this internship: Become more familiar with restorative justice and all of the practices that it incorporates.
Goals for life: Overall, my goal for the future is to work with juveniles in the criminal justice system in order to help make a positive change in their lives to keep them from continuing in the system as they get older.
