A message from LSSND Interim CEO Eric Monson in regards to the coronavirus outbreak

I know that many of you are concerned, as we all are, about the safety of friends, families and colleagues amid reports of the coronavirus outbreak. I wanted to personally assure you that Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota is working closely with local and public health departments to ensure that every precaution is taken to preserve the health of our clients, our team members, their families and our communities. To this end, LSSND has established an internal task force to collect and dispatch the latest, most reliable information on the Coronavirus pandemic as a way to contribute to the health and wellbeing of all.

As health officials have warned that large gatherings of people can make it easier for COVID-19 to spread, LSSND and Imagine Thriving’s leaders have decided it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone all upcoming screenings of Not Alone and Screenagers in North Dakota communities.

We will be in touch in the near future about when the events will be rescheduled, and about innovative ways that participants may be able to engage in some of our other upcoming conferences and events should the virus continue to spread throughout North Dakota. Please watch our website (www.lssnd.org/blog) and social media pages (Facebook, Twitter @LSSND) for the latest updates on these events, as we continue to monitor the situation. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at ericm@lssnd.org or at (701)368-8403.

Our commitment has been, and always will be, with the people we serve, and we look forward to doing so in a healthy, meaningful way for all individuals who live in North Dakota.
