An elder refugee is a person over the age of 60 who has been legally admitted to the United States after fleeing his or her country because of persecution or fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion.

We connect these individuals to existing naturalization services, facilitate integration into the community, and engage and inform through activities in the area.

The Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program provides long-term support for youth in a safe and nurturing foster or kinship family to encourage growth toward independence. We find foster care solutions for refugee youths who arrive in the United States without a parent or adult relative able and willing to care for them.

Therapeutic means healing and foster is to nurture. Therapeutic foster care provides the healing and nurturing a child requires within a family environment. We believe the best place for any child to grow, develop and flourish is within a caring family environment. The treatment of
children by trained foster parents, in a family setting, is the principal feature of therapeutic foster care.
