Working with key partners, Lutheran Social Services Disaster Response leverages resources to help individuals and communities in North Dakota prepare for and recover from disasters. The agency provides help before and after a disaster through preparedness training, recovery response and recruitment, coordination and supervision of volunteers.
As the state refugee coordinator appointed by the North Dakota Department of Human Services, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota is always ready to help. We've been resettling refugees since 1948 and are proud of how the vast majority have gone on to positively contribute to their new communities and economies.
The Immigration Services of Lutheran Social Services New Americans assists refugees, immigrants and U.S. citizens with family reunification or achieving the highest legal status. We offer affordable immigration counseling and processing services to refugees, asylees, and others in need. We also provide assistance to people who want to bring relatives, including their spouse, fiance(e), parents, siblings and married or unmarried children, to the United States.
Immigration Services are provided by an immigration lawyer and a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accredited representative.
