Ariana Best, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Ariana earned her master's degree in social work from Eastern Washington University in 2005. She has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatry, residential centers for substance abuse and mental illness, and at a children’s advocacy center.
Deborah Schon, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Deborah Schon has been in the social work field since 1990, starting at Charles Hall Youth Services as a social worker. She began working at New Horizons Adoptions in 1996.
Guy McCommon, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Guy McCommon, MSW, LICSW, has been in the social work field since 1993. He received his bachelor of science degree in social work and social behavioral science from the University of Mary; he completed an accelerated master of social work program at New Mexico State University.
Jackie Lelm, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Jackie Lelm earned her master's degree in social work from the University of North Dakota in 1998. She has been practicing in the Bismarck-Mandan community since 1998 as well. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, family and relationship issues, grief, adjustment issues and gender identity issues.
Chris Hertler, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Chris Hertler grew up in Michigan and Wisconsin. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1976. His undergraduate majors were in psychology and philosopy. His graduate studies and training were in the clinical psychology program at the University of Manitoba.
Roger Johnson, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Roger has been a social work practitioner, supervisor, trainer, and teacher for the past 40 years. A North Dakota native, he has been teaching in the UND Social Work Department for the last 5 years. Prior to that he worked at Northeast Human Service Center providing individual, group, and family therapy. Roger earned his Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 1977.
Jasmyne Ramirez, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Jasmyne has over 14 years of experience working with children and families in the areas of family preservation, trauma, and emotional disturbances as well as adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Becky Kopp-Dunham, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Rebecca (Becky) Kopp-Dunham earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, Moorhead and obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of MN. She is dually licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota as a clinical social worker and is certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy which is an evidence based treatment for children.
Ashley Kasson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Ashley has been helping couples, families, and individuals since 2007. She earned her Master’s Degree in Couples Family Therapy at North Dakota State University’s Therapy program. Ashley has experience working with all ages in an outpatient and inpatient hospitalized settings. She works with an array of issues including adolescent behavioral problems, trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and marital/couples issues.
Stephanie Mestery, Licensed Certified Social Worker
Stephanie has been in the social work field since 2001 after graduating from Minnesota State University with a BA in social work. She earned a Master’s Degree from University of North Dakota in 2011. She is licensed in ND, MN, and SD as a Licensed Certified Graduate Social Worker. She has worked with all populations from birth to elderly in the acute care and home care settings. She is currently completing certifications in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Infant Mental Health. She has a passion for the adopted child and trauma.
Amy Ochsendorf, Psy.D., L.P., Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Amy Ochsendorf is a native to the Fargo-Moorhead area. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead prior to completing graduate school at the University of Indianapolis, where she received both her master’s and doctorate degree in clinical psychology. She moved back to the F-M area to complete her pre-doctoral internship. Amy's graduate program and internship were accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Kory Schmitt-Schaan, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Kory Schmitt-Schaan, a North Dakota native, received her master's in social work from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM, in 2001. She returned to the midwest (Rochester, Minn.) where she lived and worked for 12 years.
Brittany Schank, Licensed Certified Social Worker
Brittany has worked in a variety of settings which include inpatient psychiatry, a local emergency department, and County Social Services as a Foster Care Case Manager. Also, she currently serves in the North Dakota Air National Guard, where she has been enlisted since 2006. All of these experiences have given her a broad perspective and prepared her to work with clients of all ages and situations.
Sara Stallman, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Sara Stallman has been providing mental health and early intervention services to children and their families for the last 12 years. She grew up in a small farming community and later attended Concordia College, Moorhead. She received her master’s in social work at Augsburg College.
Glenda Trochmann, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Glenda has been a social worker for 23 years. She began her career working as a hospice social worker and bereavement counselor and has since worked as a clinical social work supervisor, grief center therapist and Veteran mental health social work supervisor and therapist.

Jasmine is a small town, North Dakota grown farm girl, who has always aspired to work with children and families. She earned an undergraduate degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2010. Jasmine went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2011.
Jeff Stine, Licensed Certified Social Worker
Jeff Stine earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead, MN. Jeff continued on to advance his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.
Jeff is a retired Master Sergeant who spent twenty years with the Minnesota Army National Guard. In Jeff’s military career he has completed three overseas tours to include Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, and Kuwait. Jeff is well versed in combat related stress, trauma and reintegration.

Kelly Sisson earned a bachelor's degree in social work from McMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. She continued on to an Advanced Standing program, earning her master's in social work from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.
James Yockim, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
A native of Williston, N.D., James received his bachelor of social welfare degree in 1975 from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1979 with a master of social work degree.
