Volunteer Opportunities
Lutheran Church LSS Liaison

Statewide

Job Description:
In an effort to strengthen our relationship with North Dakota Lutheran churches affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) and Lutheran Churches-Missouri Synod (LCMS), Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota has established an LSS Church Liaison Program.

In ELCA churches where there is an active Women of the ELCA unit, we are encouraging one of the members to become an LSS liaison; in ELCA churches without a Women of the ELCA unit, we are inviting any member of the congregation to step forward to volunteer to serve as the congregational liaison. In congregations affiliated with the LCMS, we are encouraging a member of the individual Lutheran Women Missionary League or a caring individual from within the congregation to become a liaison.
