Luther Hall
Luther Hall serves children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder and need 24-hour care and treatment.  Care and treatment is provided for youth with:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Attention Deficit & Disruptive Behavior Disorders
  • Psychotic Disorders
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorders
  • Substance Related Disorders
  • Personality Disorders

The Program
Luther Hall uses Positive Peer Culture as its milieu therapy. The essence of the peer culture is based on two simple Judeo-Christian principles:

We are our brother’s keeper.
Anything that hurts any person is wrong.

Rather than staff imposing rules of behavior, youth are organized into small groups by gender and empowered to help each other develop new values and skills for making appropriate choices.

Qualified mental health professionals provide each resident with an individualized plan to meet their specific needs. Programming is carried out in a 24-hour therapeutically planned group living and learning environment.  Individual, group and family therapies are integrated into the daily living program.

Services
Residential settings provide a safe environment in which comprehensive assessments of the youth’s needs coincide with the development of an individualized treatment plan.  Treatment is provided in a 24-hour therapeutically planned group living and learning environment.  Individual, group and family therapy are integrated in the residential daily living plan.
