Lutheran Social Services Family Counseling
Lutheran Social Services Family Counseling preserves the families of at-risk youth through intensive in-home therapeutic services.
The program offers an alternative solution to the out-of-home placement of at-risk children and adolescents. Counselors work to strengthen families by helping them find ways to work through crisis situations and become self sufficient in handling future challenges.
Who is eligible for Family Counseling services?
Families are referred when at least one child is at risk of out-of-home placement should their situation not improve. Referrals must come from the North Dakota Division of Juvenile Services or Juvenile Court. Families are served in the Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Minot regions.
