Lutheran Social Services New Americans
Lutheran Social Services New Americans continues the American tradition of welcoming diversity and helping refugees achieve their dreams. We assist refugees who have fled persecution, war and horrific circumstances.
Refugees in foreign lands who are legally admitted into our country face many hurdles as they struggle to achieve self-sufficiency. That’s where Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota—and our spirit of service—makes such a difference. But we don’t work alone.
Invaluable partnerships with many national, state and local agencies make our refugee resettlement programs and employment services possible. Our partners include schools, churches, health care organizations, social service agencies, the North Dakota Department of Human Services, national resettlement agencies, US Department of State, Office of Refugee Resettlement, adult learning centers, civic groups, employers, plus individual volunteers and mentors.
Lutheran Social Services' Immigration Services provides affordable immigration counseling and processing services to refugees, asylees, parolees, non-immigrants and U.S. citizens. We also provide assistance to people who want to bring relatives including their spouse, fiance(e), parents, siblings and married or unmarried children to the United States.
