Disaster Times – Minot, March 22, 2012
Lutheran Social Services of ND/Lutheran Disaster Response Weekly Update:

In an effort to keep you informed please feel free to clip and paste the following information into your bulletins.

Applications for assistance through the Resource Agencies Flood Team (RAFT) will be accepted through April 15, 2012 for 2011 flood affected people in Ward, McHenry, Renville Counties. To apply, contact the RAFT office at Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot at 701-630-2272. No applications will be accepted after that date.
Hope Village – April 2, this collaborative effort by local and regional partners in disaster response opens to coordinate jobs and volunteers in Minot. Hope Village will provide housing, meals, showers, jobs and tools for the many volunteers coming to help the residents of Minot.
Volunteer Opportunities:

NEEDED:
Two -- 12ft long, flatbed trailers to transport building materials to homes for rebuild. If anyone would like to donate one or both or contribute to purchase, please contact LDR at 701-500-5206.
