Great Plains Food Bank announces new volunteer leadership

(November 6, 2014) - The Great Plains Food Bank, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, announces the appointment of its 2014-2015 statewide advisory committee leadership. The committee is composed of 14 volunteer members, including three new officers:

President: Aaron Becher (general manager, The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead)
President-Elect: David Maring (attorney at law, Maring Williams Law Office P.C.)
Secretary: Jenni Monson (community volunteer)

In addition, the Great Plains Food Bank welcomes four new committee members:
Jan Eliassen (executive director, Gladys Ray Shelter and Veterans Drop-in Center)
Cher Hersrud (director of advancement, Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation)
Nancy Johnson (North Dakota legislator)
Adin Enockson, youth member (Fargo North High School)

The new committee members join current members Stacey Belka, (Blue Cross Blue Shield of N.D), Keith Gilleshammer, (program director, Anchorage), Pat Leonard, (director of social services, Sanford Health), David Martin (vice president, community relations and business development, Choice Financial) Diane Nelson (vice president, business banking, Bremer Bank) LSSND Board Chair Mark Strand (vice president and senior trust officer, First International Bank & Trust), and Marti Sunderlin (Village West store manager, Hornbacher’s Foods).
