North Dakotans from across the state join LSS board
Three North Dakota residents have become new board members for Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota.
Laurie B. Furuseth, Williston, N.D., is a former Chief Financial Officer for Williston State College. She received her master’s of accountancy from the University of North Dakota. She has been active on many boards, including the Fort Union Association and the Williston Area Development Foundation.
Kris Fehr, Dickinson, N.D., is executive director of the Best Friends Mentoring Program and co-owner/managing partner of AK Investments, A&F Fehr Properties and Castle Cleaning & Home Repair. She is past president of the Rotary Club of Dickinson and the Dickinson Public School Board.
Rev. Desiree Uhrich is senior pastor at Christ Lutheran Church, Minot, N.D. She is a “second career” pastor, having worked for much of her life in the area of domestic violence and sexual assault – both providing direct services and helping agencies and individuals build their skills to better serve victims.
The Board of Directors for Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota represents communities and interests from across the state of North Dakota. LSSND Board members provide insight and guidance related to organizational vision, values, and future directions.
