Public discussion on refugee integration into the FM area slated for Feb. 25

Fargo, N.D. – With the support of the City of Fargo and Tri-College New Leadership, Lutheran Social Services New Americans will host a public discussion on refugee integration into the F-M community Tuesday, February 25, at the Fargo Public Library from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The focus of the open discussion forum will be to raise awareness of some of the issues in the community relating to refugees. The presentation will
• Dispel myths about refugees
• Create community connections and awareness
• Provide an opportunity for the community to learn about new immigrants in the Fargo/West Fargo/Moorhead area
• Present a short video about refugee resettlement
